Similar to the Swift River Brookie, this Char, in honor of the native Char of New England, is a light line, 3 piece, 3 weight, medium action rod built on a James Green native trout series blank. this new version has a lovely dual-band reel seat with a Birdseye maple spacer and a 6” cigar grip. The reel-seat hardware is oxidized nickel-silver, and the first section has a hook keeper and blued NS stripping guide with a agate insert. The fine wire snake guides are black as well. The silk wraps on this amber blank are translucent rouge (charr in Gaelic) with a bit of green trim. It has trim wraps at 12 and 15 inches to estimate fish size. Includes rod tube and bag.
