This Edinburgh, Scotland brass reel is in fine working condition. It is a plate wind reel and can be used either left or right hand wind. The spool measures 3 1/4 inches in diameter and 1 1/2 inches wide. and will hold lines up to 8 weight. Some honest wear to the finish but otherwise fine. It is a reel for bigger rod and fish and displays very nicely as well.
This is a 3 inch, brass, plate wind reel in very good, original condition. It has a strong internal click and can be used either left or right hand wind. The gun metal finish is quite good with some minor spotting on the front and a few small scratches on the back plate. It would make a fine trout reel for an antique cane or greenwood fly rod.
A limited edition, Ingvar Nilsson, raised pillar fly reel made in Sweden for Golden Witch, a bamboo rod making tool company. The diameter from pillar to pillar is 2 3/4” and spool is 1” wide. The rims and pillars are nickel silver as is the counterbalanced serpentine handle. The Golden Witch logo and number A003 appear on the side. It comes with a blue velvet rod bag and is loaded with a lightly used Royal Wulff Bamboo Special 4wt fly line. Overall condition is very good to excellent with very minor signs of use.
