Abbie and Imbrie - 8', 3/2
This is an elegant circa 1920 rod made for A&I, possibly by Eustis Edwards based on its characteristics. It is 8 feet with size 10 and 15 ferrules and a medium/slow action. The reel seat is a cap and band with cedar insert. It has a six inch cigar shaped grip and a strap and ring hook keeper. The wraps are green with dark red intermediates, all original. The varnish is good after a bit of a polishing but still shows some wear. The ferrules are bright NS and fit well. Both tips are slightly short by 1/2 and 3/4 inches. The rod tube and bag are replacement. It is a fine all-around trout rod.
